Preparation briefings, glossary development, and pre-reading are included as standard for complex assignments. For common language pairs in locations we cover regularly, 48 to 72 hours is typically sufficient. For specialist sectors, rare language pairs, or international deployment, we recommend five to ten business days to ensure the right interpreter is available.
What is whisper interpreting and when is it used?
Whisper interpreting (chuchotage) is a form of simultaneous interpreting where the interpreter sits beside one or two listeners and speaks quietly into their ear in real time, without booth or equipment. It is used for small delegations in meetings where only a few participants need a different language.
